Why do they have different speed llimits in different parts of a city?

  1. To keep you on your toes


  2. this way they can bust you for speeding

  3. You know schools kids crossing so low speed.

    Neighbor hood again slow speed.

    Parks and recreation area low speed.

    Hospitals low speed.

  4. Because the roads are different.  Speed limits depend on:

    1.  the type of road (residential, arterial, major boulevard, etc.)

    2.  the surroundings (school, hospital, etc.)

    3.  the number of lanes

    4.  the straightness of the road and the presence of blind spots.
