Why do they have to put us down!?

I got my AS level (advanced subsidary) results today and got 4 A grades and 1 B grade. It would be nice if people around the country could CELEBRATE the young people's results and not claim that the exams are 'too easy', yes, yes i'm sure they are!

does this annoy anyone else :(

You are correct.  Excellence and effort should be celebratory.  There are many people in education and the general public who share your concern.  Keep striving.  There is a significant personal value in self enrichment and achievement.  Knowledge is something that is continually built upon.   Achievement has enormous personal value.  You are not alone.  

Make a circle of friends who study and learn to encourage one another.  The "world is your oyster".  Discover and explore.  Plan to travel.  Execute your plan.  Share the benefits of travel with others.  Visit historic sites and museum exhibitions.  Keep a journal of your experiences.

Make use of  this concern.  Transform perceptions into something positive.  Identify academic and educational opportunities that will enhance your ability to disseminate the message.
