  1. A generalization. Most people don't torture animals, and those that do also torture humans.  Make your question a bit more specific. And is the word "inhumanely" not wrong?  It should be "inanimally"!

  2. I am puzzled by your question. What animals do you mean and what country are you referring to?

Basically with animals there are several reasons why they can't shoot them. If it is for food production they already have techniques where they can kill them humanely (at least they do have here in the UK).

Shooting animals is always problematic. The problem is that bullets only kill if they hit the right spot. If the person shooting misses then they can wound the animal which only increases its distress. The person has to either be an excellent shot or the animal need to be in an enclosed space.

Not only that, but in an enclosed space you have to watch out for the bullet bouncing off something or the gun going off accidentally. Not only that, in an abattoir, the sounds of guns going off would more than likely scare the animals are waiting.

  3. What do you mean? The meat industry? If you do, then the guys who run the slaughterhouses are never animal lovers.

  4. This is the reason why I became vegetarian.

I don't know why those people can't just shoot them. Maybe they think it makes them a stronger person to torture animals, I don't know. Why they torture them, is barbaric, sick and wrong.

Really, I don't know why the people who make killing a living torture and slaughter those poor, defenseless animals. I think that they figure that "Oh, they are just animals, and we don't care if they are in pain."

I bet that's what their thought process behind it all is.

Please, let's just try to kill them as inhumanely as possible, if that is possible.

  5. who is "they"?

  6. Who Tori?  Your question is incomplete.

Depending on your perspective any killing of an animal could be considered inhumane.

  7. so  now ,  who is they, and who decides what is humane  and what is not?  that is a very subjective thing to say,  and you do seem to think that only your opinion of humane is correct.

I am not sure what your talking about,  the humane society?  how they kill animals,  or the beef industry?   or the poultry industry?  who?  what?  when    tell me ...

    good luck  ;)
