  1. graffiti

  2. To stop tramps and drug addicts etc.. etc..

  3. thats a george carlin joke. Couldn't come up with anything original?

  4. the same reason they have locks on 24hour convenient stores, or when people say " we're going to paint the town red" you never see any cans or spray paint around

  5. That's an old one...in fact, it was going around yesterday (possibly in an article about George Carlin's death...not sure).

Why'd you post it twice? If you use it as your subject line, posting it in the body is just redundant.

So, you may want to find out whose words you stole so you can give them credit. ☺

  6. Or people might come in and graffiti them.  Or completely trash them; pull out all the paper, make them into wads and throw them on the ceiling.  Stuff like that.

  7. It's for the customers protection. If they're locked, then some low life can't hide in there just waiting for you to come in. If they didn't and someone got attacked, they could be sued, big time.

  8. They just want to see your reaction to carrying a key with a tire attached to it. :P

  9. The owners of the stations are afraid of people having s*x in the restrooms, so they keep them locked. This way they can monitor who is using their restroom.

On a side note - it would be LOVELY if the restrooms were clean, but alas that is not the case.

  10. It's so homeless people don't live in there, and also so they don't store drugs in there.

  11. Well in the US at least you have restrooms at gas stations, this is not usual in UK.
