  1. For two reasons:

Interior design. People who own these buses want them to look nice, right?

These buses are on the pricey side. Passengers expect to be in comfort no matter what happens. This would include if the bus flipped over. You could flip over the side of a cliff, but at least the carpet's nice, right?

  2. It's for noise reduction.

  3. Sound deadening. It absorbs the the noise of people and the road.

  4. I've never heard of that.

    Weird.

I think you were on a bus for "special" people, who might hurt themselves if the ceiling wasn't carpeted!

    I dunno. I've got nothing.

  5. IT REDUCES NOISE LEVELS...PLUS WHEN THE BUS CRASHES THROUGH A GUARDRAIL ON THE INTERSTATE AND LANDS ON ITS ROOF..YOU STILL GET THAT FEELING OF LUXURY AS YOU CRAWL OUT THE BUS ON CARPETED SPLENDOR

  6. I'm guessing it's just in case Spiderman wants to ride the bus in a an unconvetional fashion.
