  1. The sound of the cow bells on cows gives the owner the idea as to where his herd is grazing; and when it is time for the herd to return to the stables,the owner knows that his herd is returning as he hears the sound of the bells coming closer and closer.

  3. If the cow wanders away you should be able to hear the bell and know about where she is.

  4. It was for the cow that led the heard. Later on, people put it for the best livestock and eventually all cows.
