Cake is good.

Not easy.

That's not the first word that comes to mind when you say cake. I think good.

I mean i guess its not THAT hard, but it takes lots of ingrediants and like 30-40 mintues to bake. I Mean, even cookies are easier than cake. But its not impossible to make a cake. Ok.

Why do people say this?

(im doing a little research out of curiosity, but what do you think??)

  1. Cake is something most will not turn down. just about everyone is willing to eat cake. When they say 'Peice of Cake' they  are not saying 'It is easy', they are saying 'They are willing to help out.'

  2. This is said in connection with something very easy to do, e.g. relearning to play the guitar was a piece of cake!

  3. hmmm........

never thought of it that way. I guess one piece of cake is easier to eat then the whole cake. IDK.

  4. maybe because cake is easy to eat!
