I hear alot that people say if you drink more water, you will stay young for longer time. Why is that? How is it related to being young? I really don,t see any connection.

  2. To grow that honeydew melon seed in your stomach, of course!

(Nurturing a plant always makes you feel young inside.)

  3. 75 percent of your body is made up of water. If you don't drink enough, you will shrivel up and die. That's why ppl can go days and days without food but not without water. Plus, you need water to keep your metabolism working properly. If we don’t keep that amount, our bodies will start to dehydrate. That's part of the reason there are so many fat people in Aerica. They drink pop instead of water. Plus, you know when you start to get thirsty? Yeah. You are already dehydrated.

  4. A very large amount of your body is made up of water (I'm still not sure how much - some cite 75%, but I've seen higher written elsewhere).

You lose a certain amount through sweat, urinary processes etc.

Some of this needs to be replaced.

Also, it helps purify your blood and other internal organs. This, I imagine, would help with digestion and getting proper nutrition from other things that you eat.

If you don't drink enough water, your urinary and faecal processes won't purify the blood as much.

It's good for your skin, too, and your skin's your largest organ of your body. This might be why it's related to "being young". It keeps your skin healthier and makes you appear perhaps younger.

Of course, this is magnified if you exercise!

PS somebody please get this stupid spellchecker to shut up. I write in British English, not US English.

  5. I'd also like to know. But d**n drinking that much makes me pee so much :-/

I'm pretty sure water promotes healthy hair and nail growth, and being hydrated is necessary for those important body processes that you know,  keep you alive.
