Seriously though, we can live without pants, I've got 14 years without them, and I'm healthy. Haha

they don't unless you are in a cold climate, in which case, pants are one article of clothing that are needed to keep you warm.

If 'they' do say that, it probably has something to do with keeping the testicles warm enough for sperm to be viable.

I think you mean "plants"...in which case, it's obvious why we couldn't survive without them.  Plants and animals both respire, and we complement each other with what gases we exchange.  In evolutionary history, plants and their ancestors came first.

Never heard of such a thing, man could live just fine without pants, there are tribes in Africa that don't wear clothes at all.
