why do they say if a girls on her period she can't hold a baby. is this a fact? or like an urban legend?

I don't know for sure, but in the biblical times when a woman was on her period she was said to be "unclean". Wonder if it has anything to do with that?

i have no idea why people say this but you can hold a baby while you are on your period.

ive heard of this before. that is sooo urban legend. i guess back then, people dint know alot about periods and thought they were evil/good etc. and i guess with this one, people thought something can happen to the baby if she was on her period. weird i know lol

Sounds like a large pile of crapola to me.  It's an urban legend.
