  1. Paris was romanticized in novels in the early 20th century based on the city's loose code of conduct and as a destination for young artisans. The city doesn't make you amorous, but you can find perfume and s**y underwear there where in other places / times you could not.

  2. You can describe all the museums, the monuments, the lights, the river, the food, but somehow you just need to experience the total package-like being in love-to understand why

  3. I actually feel a little osrry for you that you havnt been there

honestly, book flights now, and go. you won't have to ask this question again.

i went on a school trip there when i was 11, and i totally ffell in love with the place. its what made me fall in love with the french language too

  4. It's the city of lights, and there's a river, beautiful architecture, awesome people-watching, so much art, good food in charming places, and odd surprises, like you never know when someone you ask for directions to a restaurant will take you there in a convertible and tell the host to give you a glass of wine.  It's also kind of relaxed and there's 24-hour fun if you want it.  There are nice parks, you can take boat rides on the Seine, go up to Montmartre fro anamazing view and great neighborhood.  And there are endless boutiques, shops, markets, bakeries, bistros, clubs, galeries, discos, so much it's like Manhattan only much quieter, very walkable, sometimes quaint, sometimes busy, but there are lots of great smells and sights and it's very historical, but with many modern thinking people.

  5. i have no idea too. when i went to france i saw it and it felt like nothing to me. nothing much great about france. i dont think its romantic but its pretty fun all the shopping and beaches. franch isnt that bad but it isnt that great either. even my parents thinks its one of the most romantic cities in the world

  6. u know what... i'm french and i was born and i live in paris... i cannot answer to your question because i don't understand why.. i don't think that... i went to rome... and this is a romantic city... gosh!!! but paris it's really strange for me that we have a such reputation
