  1. Like I keep saying I'm not a scientist but yes in over 200 years          humans will live on Mars. Not for a lifetime but for like a month.

  2. Who is "they"?

What do they mean by "transfer"?  All of us go there and set up the human race there?

Why would we transfer there (being that we are well enough here compared to there)?

When should we tranfer (according to "them")?

It is likely that we (humans) may have a base on Mars by the end of the century.  However, it might be only a few hundred people at most, not a transfer of the human race.

We certainly do not have the resources to transfer large people to Mars (AND set them up to live there) in the next generation or two.

  3. Scientists have actually discovered that the terrain of Mars suggested that water once flowed in the planet because of the presence of valleys/canyons. Its conditions are more like Earth, too (as compared to Venus) that's why although Venus and Mars are closer to Earth, Venus was definitely out of the option because it's atmosphere is so thick. They also believe that in time, the Sun could melt the ice caps in Mars and turn it into flowing water, which would sustain human life.

Well, personally, I don't believe this tosh. But it would be better if everyone will be shipped off to Mars so that I could live here on Earth in peace, because I won't be joining them.

  4. The reason is it has conditions similar to Earth. First it has a form of water which is needed to sustain human life. It also has oxygen to breathe so humans could breath there. The gravity wouldn't crush anybody. And itys not to far away from the sun.
