Why do they show swimming more then diving?

for the summer games in china they show swimming more then they do diving. i live in san diego,ca and the diving comes on when i'm sleeping. i wish they would show diving more. michael philps is doping and getting away with it. btw batemittin shouldnt be a olympic sport plus theguy on the horse whats up with that. is that really a sport

they show diving quite often. and they show swimming more often because michael phelps is going for something no one has ever done before. and michael isn't doping, if he was, it would be a big deal. unlike other athletes he can not pay his way out of it. why don't you ask the basketball players whats up. and obviously your view on sports is quite limited. i didn't know you slept at 5 or 6 pm because that is when diving is on in california.

Phelps isn't diving! Duh!

But Why?

Here's some ideas:

*He can't he's afraid of heights.

*He can't wear his super fast suit, it makes him look like a missile.

*Being competitive he'd want to be in every form of diving and he just couldn't clone himself in time for synchronised diving so bagged the idea.

* The other US divers threatened to beat him up if he stole their turf.

u just have to stay up or sleep then wake up to watch diving ... that's what I do to watch swimming .. plus .. swimming is more competitive.. and I would be sooo disappointed if phelps turns out to be doping ..

Diving is usually on first; at least when I watch....  But, if it's on when your sleeping, tape it or buy a tivo.

Swimming is more exciting.

There are more swimming events than diving.  No, Michael Phelps isn't doping, and anyone who continues to think that's true even after all the testing done on every athlete daily is a moron.  And yes, the equestrian eventing is a sport.  It takes more talent than basketball.
