  1. My dishes have gold in them, too....actually, they're solid gold, but I have a solid gold microwave that I can put them in.

    i just got some new plates, they weren't cheap and the first day i microwaved my dinner and one of the plates is now cracked!

  8. I don't microwave anything in plastic, even if it says it's okay because I've heard evidence to the contray. I always use glass or paper.  Metal never belongs in a MW.

  14. My parents bought me china for my apartment as a house warming gift, but it has gold in it, so it can't be microwaved :(
