We are having trouble with our daughter here, the teacher tells her that it is EBCDAFJHIG and they say E for apple and A for elephant.

It is so confusing to her that we had to move her to a private school.

  1. It just be the way the say it, if your confused about it Google it and see what comes up.

  2. As for the pronunciation, can it be because of the accent?

As far as teaching the letters of the alphabet, it does not matter what order you teach them in. I taught kindergarten for 8 years and now pre-k and I have never taught the alphabet in order. When you teach it in order, the children are just memorizing it, not really learning it.

  3. Are you sure they are not teaching in some language other than English? Try asking the school for clarification.

  4. you should talk to the principle about it maybe from the teacher

  5. that's wrong I think the FILIPINO alphabet  is

    a   b   c d e f g

    h i j k   l m n

    ñ ng o     p q r   s

    t   u   v w   x y z

English has to be English where ever you go they can't change
