  1. Oh I like dark. I know there are other people that like dark. Is there any possible way it could be something other than dark?

  2. Many African-Americans deal with this issue. Sometimes it takes years to get over feeling the way you do. I would say that you need to start to really like who you are. Look in the mirror and point out what you like about yourself. Also, look inward and think about all of the things that you are good at. Once you start to like yourself your self-esteem will begin to show and people are attracted to others with self-esteem. If the person you like is not interested in you because of the color of your skin you are better off without them anyway. Liking someone just because they are lighter is very shallow and superficial. Do you want to be given attention by shallow and superficial people or do you want to attract people who are not ashamed to acknowledge that they are attracted to someone who doesn't look like the plastic girls they see in the videos. Love yourself and love from others will come.

  3. Maybe you should get some new friends.

You shouldn't have to worry about your weight with your friends and certainly not your race. That's not fair.

  4. Babe here's the answer but you probably wont like it.

It isn't how dark you are.

Its a combination of your weight and your general appearance. Darkness is a factor but only a small factor.

Here's what you need to do. Lose weight.

Come down to 130 or 125. When you get there take stock of your appearance. Look in the mirror. Maybe your facial features are not that attractive. Only you can decide. If so, fix them, either through make-up or cosmetic surgery.

Forget the idiocy about "looking white". Instead focus on looking attractive.  Good luck.

In the end being "Dark" is a very very minor factor.

If you do it, it'll be worth it. If you don't, it wont.
