  1. it sucks everything into the vortex and because of the speed of it /it sucks it in and up and away  very strong about 250-300 miles an hour imagine that at your door well forget the door

  2. It is due to rising whirling wind that is usually found inside the tornado.

  3. Winds are air currents that happen because of differences in air pressure, cyclones also respect that rule. When a tornado forms it tends to even the pressure which is always greater on the ground because there's whole atmosphere on it, which means tornado will swirl and pull air up in order to even the pressure and that air will lift things up.

  4. because the pressusre of air is low therre

  5. A tornado is nothing more than a convection, i.e. rising air due to the difference in temperature between the surface and the upper atmosphere. It is the same principle that creates storms, hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons or any low pressure area.

Tornados can happen anywhere in the world but they are most frequent on the north American continent because of its geography: On the west, the Rocky mountains. On the north the polar front. On the south the humid and warm Gulf of Mexico.

When the conditions are right, it creates very small and concentrated low pressures, yet extremely powerful.

But the lifting process - a.k.a. convection - is always the same: temperature difference where very cold air is above warm one and the air mass is said to be unstable. That happens when the adiabatic cooling with altitude is lower than the dry air adiabatic cooling: about one degree Celsius per 100 meters.

  6. I think the vortex of wind created a suction force so strong that it can lift anything up depending on the size of the tornado. Just like the vortex in the bath tub, when the stopped is released, the water drain out, sucking everything around them into the hole. It's a same situation.
