  1. I dont know but one time I was riding a dirtbike and one those bugs got stuck in my eye and it was in there for a while. My mom was like ewww amd I was like get it out and she grabbed a napkin and started rubbing my eye. Yeah it hurts and it sucks.

  2. first of all, they are called gnats. (pronounced NATS) and they arent trying to go into your eye. these little bugs are what you see buzzing around a dead or dying animal.  They fly around your head because they're attracted by your exhaled carbon dioxide. You signify the potential for a juicy snack. even though we dont know what they really eat.

  3. There are a number of flies that exhibit this behavior.  So called face flies can be observed any place where cattle and horses are kept.  You will see them flying and landing in the faces of the horses and cattle to the animals distress.  They are attracted to the moisture and mucus in the animals face and to ours.  Your eyes are kept constantly moist so  that is where you find them.  They avoid shade so you may rid yourself of them by entering buildings and shady areas.

  4. They are attracted to your eye. I have had a fly go in my eye and I blinked. It died in my eye..... gross!
