to "just me": they might live in the most peaceful communities and are kind to their own families, but look what they do to the families and children of others :-( Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

to the most of the others: It's sad how brainwashed some people are.

  1. And you know this because you have talked to how many actual service men and women.

Seriously.  The person who hates war the most is the one tasked to fight it.  Get a clue.

  2. They are fighting to maintain peace

    your words are completely ignorant

    and insulting

  3. Let me break it down for ya Barney style.

    Me;  trained killer.

You;  pink panty wearing, rainbow patterned, peace symbol flaunting pacifist.

    ANY QUESTIONS?

  4. I wouldn't know why your British troops hate peace, but our American troops pray for peace.

  5. who told you that line of BS? some code pink loser. the troops want peace and that is the goal of the US Military to maintain peace.

  6. I've never met a troop that hated peace.  It's those who scream "peace" while burning stuff who are the haters.

  7. I don't hate peace.  I hate dictators or terrorists who don't allow us to enjoy peace.  I also dislike people who think all troops are bloodthirsty killers when the vast majority of us do what we have to do to defend this country.  We do what we do so you have the right to insult us.  Try asking this question in North Korea or go outside without your face covered in Saudi Arabia and see what happens to you.

  8. I like peace.  Right now, I am enjoying peace in a Starbucks cafe, answering dumb questions like these.

  9. I would gladly go through unemployment so I would never have to serve again.

    Theres nothing Id love more.

    Marry me melissa.

  10. Unemployment.

  11. Troops of all of the armed forces love peace more than anything!  Trust me, they'd love to see peace break out all over the world.

Ask one... would you rather be doing missions to aid refugees/natural disaster victims/etc. or would you rather be fighting and prepping to fight.

  12. We must never forget that freedom is never free, it is the most costly thing in the world. Freedom is never paid in a lump sum, installments come due every generation. All that any of us can do is offer the generations that follow a chance for freedom.

Our soldiers are protecting us from the tyrants and anarchy that the rest of the world has to live with. Unfortunately that means using war to restore peace. I respect what our troops do for this nation and wish them the best.

  13. The men and women that serve love peace, why would we wnat to risk our lives for unnessaserily. But as Ronald Regan once said, "Freedom is not inherrited, we dont pass it to our children in the bloodstream it must be fought for a nd protected and passed down for the next generation to do the same."

  14. i'm going to agree with most people on this forum...

i used to be the most left sided libral that walked the planet (when i was a teenager, which i assume you are!)  i wanted peace etc.

then one day,  i decided to actually do something with me life and join the service.  and to this day it is the best decsion i have ever made,  my friends always told me i joined "the darkside"  but they remain at home doing the same thing and most of them live with their parents still (HINT HINT i'm 25)

the Navy has given my family a beautiful home, a hospital less than a mile away, great schools for my son, and a beach down the street.

i guess what i am trying to say is, its a great life.... and war is a part of it.  most of us are good people in the end.

  15. They don't hate peace. They are defending our country and with jealousy. God Bless America and all our troops....God Bless them all as they lay their lives down for this great nation. They deserve our respect.

    Disabled Veteran USMC

  16. Troops don't hate peace. They make it.

  17. It's clear you've never served a day.  The Troops hate war but we volunteered to protect and defend the constitution voluntarily.  The real patriots still hear the call today....

  18. Troops don't hate peace but once deployed there isn't anything else important as the soldier next to you. That's why they stay out there and do what has to be done, even if it means shooting the engine block of a car to stop it when a car doesn't stop at a check point. All a soldier wants to do is be done with his deployment and come back home safe.

  19. No offense, but you have no idea what the people in the American military think about war.  We do not hate peace; in fact, we do what we do in order to preserve peace in our nation.

Nobody hates war more than a person in the military.

    >We are "brainwashed"?  Code Pink is the group that is brainwashed.  They make accusations without a shred of factual evidence and repeat the mantras of the leader, Medea Benjamin.  Believing in a false stereotype is being brainwashed.

BTW. Your pessism and negatively is really getting to you.

  20. Why do you say that? I have lots military veterans and some of them are being reserve in my family and like them and the other military as if your refer to the troops pay their price to make the better world. They do want to bring the peace. Sometimes, don't agree with the outcome of what is going on in the other countries that involves terrorists, it doesn't mean that they don't support peace and want to have the peace, the problem is the terrorists try to make the holy war( excessive killing) as more important than having the peace, keep killing people. It is difficult to stay peace, and fighting at the same time. The terrorists don't believe in peace at all, they just want to run the world even after if they try to ruin Israel.

  21. Most worthless question ever, from another person who truly knows nothing about the world or the military.

We, the military, actively try to make the world a better place.

You, sit around, talk, make signs and sing songs....real helpful.

    We win.

  22. And we're the ones who are brain washed?

You don't deserve the freedoms that they defend for your sorry butt.

  23. War is the last thing a soldier wants.

  24. What gives you the right to ask this moronic question?

oh..thats right, ME, my father, my fathers father, my uncles, my cousins, my brothers, my sisters, and everyone who i conisder family who fights by my side to MAINTAIN peace for you.

Troops don't hate peace, we fall to our knees and cry out to God to make the war stop so that we don't have to see one of our own die another day in war......
