  1. I think these are all 'Turkic peoples', a lot of Turkish people moved East a few thousand years ago.

    They are Asian, technically.

  2. Because the Caucasoid/Mongoloid genetic split took place in the vicinity of Kazakhstan, appx. 40,000 years ago, and the Mongoloid populations generally drifted to the east, while the Caucasoids migrated to the west!

  3. i would classify some of these groups such as uzbek and kazakh as indo-asian. tajik is diffinately not asian but rather indo-turkic.

  4. Define "look Asian" ! Tajiks arent Turks!

  5. All the listed areas were conquered by the Mongol Empire at one time. (Source 1)

Considering that large numbers of Mongol soldiers were stationed in outlying territories and also since Mongols are not known for being monogamous (Source 2), it is not inconceivable that a significant portion of the "Asian" DNA originated from the Mongols.

  6. Well, to tell you the truth, they are Asian as their country is a part of Asia.
