Why do tv screens appear to be blinking or rolling when you record a video with them in it.?

  1. Because the horizontal scan frequencies of the TV and camera are not synchronized exactly together.


  2. I can see that you wanted to record a game. If you are playing the game on computer, you can record it without a camera. And things you mention above won't happand. Game Cam like this http://www.planetgamecam.com/ is nice for game recording,

    Some screen recorder like DemoCreator(http://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.htm... is right for application video tutorial recording.


  3. It's blinking because your camera is out of sync with the tv  show's frame-by-frame...that's the analog thing in action.  I have had that happen when I tried to photograph something with my still camera.  It's a c**p shoot!

  4. because the refresh frame rate of the tv is different than the refresh rate of the camera so when you point the camera at a tv it looks like the tv is rolling because its not in sync with the camera.
