Why do u love to cook and if u could goto culinary school what do u hope to gain?

I made a decision a long time ago not to make a profession of the think I love the best, taking care of dogs.  I was going to be a vet, but decided after spending time at a vet's office that dealing with sick animals all day would take the joy out of it.   That was a great decision because I found something I could love and do well, but leave at work at the end of the day.  Now I am totally enjoying my dogs because I love raising them, not because I "have" to.

Anyway, make sure you're willing to make that commitment if you love cooking and want to make that your career.

I love to cook because I love food.  Simple as that.

I would NEVER go to culinary school myself.  Why would I want to turn something I LOVE into something I hate?  

But if you like to cook and like to make food for other people, I say go for culinary school. You learn a LOT of good things besides tht actual food.  You learn time management, deadline management, and attention to detail.
