  1. Because you can't park on a parkway nor can you drive on a driveway.

  3. Driveway leads to your garage which is where you should park. Parkway is a tree lined and landscaped road, at least it started that way.

  5. I have never seen a parkway and I drive from the street to the garage on the driveway.  I'm more interested why we take a p**s when we're actually leaving it.?
