Why do u seek to gain knowledge?

I like to understand how things come about. Historical knowledge has been particularly satisfying in understanding political forces.

Because someday I won't be able to. Until then I have to fill my cup with everything I can.  Besides, the more I know, the more people will respect me. And the more people respect me, the more likely they are to come to my funeral. Nobody wants an empty church at their funeral.

I have a touch of aspergers syndrome, its a habit for me... I can remember and put together a lot of knowledge very easily without trying too hard.
