Why do u think more animals live in a deciduous forest than in a tundra?

  1. There is more protection from the weather and there are more varied food sources available in a deciduous forest.  Also, I think deciduous forests are usually farther south than tundra and would not be as cold.


  2. Tundra is icy, cold, dry climate.

    Deicidous is a lot like most of the US, green leafy trees, winter, summer, very temperate and mild.

    More species can survive in temperate climates because there are more resources, and it doesn't have extreme hot/cold seasons.
