  1. my 15 yr old comes home for 10 if i had my way  id wrap him in cotton wool but we cant do that either but being a teenager he doesnt want to come in and bond with us either thats too uncool at his age he thinks 10 is early as his friends are still out but they cant dictate what time either thats when they start walking all over you and doing what they like big foot has to go down every so often to let them know whos in charge but 9 is too early and midnight too late

  2. Well if you've raised a good child then even if he or she is out after nine he or she isn't doing anything stupid. I went out at that age all the time, mostly to a late movie, a 24 hour diner then back home.

  3. In our area, we have many teens roaming the streets after dark.  It's sad...  not just 16 year olds, but, 12 year olds, in tight jeans, tight tank tops...  short shorts...  make up...  shaking their booties like there was no tomorrow!!!

for God's sake, their parents are idiots...that's the truth...!

Boys don't go around without clothes on (some do, I know), girls shouldn't, either...

    that's the freakin' truth!

Parents who teach their kids to dress like slobs and s***s are scum of the earth...  so are the parents who let their kids out after dark...  dressing as such...

THEN THESE SAME PARENTS WONDER WHY THEIR TEEN IS PREGNANT...!!!

added note:  parents, if your kids are dressing the part, they are playing the part...

letting your kids out after dark is like saying "rape my child, go ahead...!!!"

  4. Friends are more fun than parents.

and 9 is way to early!

  5. My son is 12 and is allowed to stay out until just before it gets dark so for a few weeks a years its after 9pm. He and his friends are mad on sport and play footie on a nearby playing field. They are happy, healthy and safe in their numbers. Other than that he is at home . Not all kids get into trouble.

  6. They don't need to be out after 9.

  7. they dont

  8. I assuming you are speaking of a curfew for teens.

Well, you can thank the lack of parenting in this generation.  If parents were doing their jobs, cities wouldn't have to establish such rules.

Today's societies are full of parents living through their children.  They are too busy trying to be their buddies instead of parents.  I agree, you need both.  However, their is a fine line.  My god, half of the 13 year old girls look like they are 23, and dress like street walkers.  I don't care what the style is, cover up your b***s and butt.

  9. To get their weed and stuff innit.

  10. As a drunk perv I am offended by this.

  11. 9 seems a bit early, midnight I would agree with.

  12. why does your mom need to take her teeth out and put em in a glass of water at night?

why is your grammar so bad?

why are you even on here?

these are all questions the world needs answers to....

  13. I agree 100% I think parents do it because then they don't have to bother--LAZY why have children at all if you work and  do not bother the rest of the time.!

  14. Are these parents that freaking gullable?  If you raised good children than if they are out past 9p.m. they aren't doing "x".  OMG, that is some funny stuff.  I always love the shock when their sweet little daughter comes home knocked up or their boy is brought back in a police car.  That cluelessness is amazing..oh know, not MY child.  Pfft..tools (one of the worst offenders back in my days was the Preachers daughter).

  15. Because their parents are too busy checking views here in YA for marriage problems to check if their kids are asleep.

  16. At 16, they should be building bonds with their peers and should start to be more independent. In 2 years they are considered adults, and if they were never allowed to be in the world before that, then that can be overwhelming. You can't keep them home forever. A 9 o'clock curfew is for a 13 year old. As they get older you should be allowing them more and more independence.

  17. Well, if a parent is doing their job, their children are involved in sports, volunteering and helping around the house.  They aren't hanging out on the streets.
