Why do vampire's hands swell when they use them to steal or give energy?

Good good questions but since my brother is a warlock and I take and give energy (more taking then giving lately, pregnancy does that to you) no, I have not seen my hands swell or his however my hands have been puffy lately but that is purely because of being 8 months pregnant.

My brother only looks peaceful when hes taking or giving energy and as for me I just feel at ease.

No swelling nothing

They make use of all forms of energy us humans posses.

thats the first time i have ever heard that. I have never experienced that before when im giving energy (though it is rare for me to do that). Where was it that you heard this?
