Question:

Why do very few people listen to the bands at free concerts?

When I go to free concerts, maybe one person (usually me) in 50 listen to the band. Most people are: talking non-stop on cell phones, talking about other topics, listening to mp3's, surfing on laptops, acting like disruptive fools/getting drunk, etc. Why do they even bother going to the concert if they're going to ignore the music?

  1. Because the bands at free concerts "suck", to put it quite frankly. I shouldn't lump all of them into this category, but most free concerts I have been to, the music was quite awful.

  2. key words: "free concerts". anything worth listening to costs money. jk

  3. they just want to be out in the open.they get a better connection on there phone.and they are rude.rude is cool today.it still dont make it right.

  4. Since it is free nobody values the music.  If they had to pay $100 for a seat you bet they'd listen.

  5. I've noticed that. Maybe because they didn't invest THEIR money, they don't feel they have to be respectful. That always irritates me.

  6. They go to say that they go.

They couldn't care less about the bands.
