I am a new south welshwoman by birth .. and a Victorian by choice. It's been a few decades since I have been to Adelaide... and I do remember it ( ie from a child's perspective) as being a nice place... BUT ... you guys have had so many horrible and weird murders for quiet place... BIT scarey .. least here we generally have more bad guys bumping each other off than serial killers and weird ones at that ...

So .. If you insist on calling Melbourne .. the Grand Old Dame that she is .. the bogan Capital of Australia ..  I will have to insist on calling Adelaide the Town of Serial Killers.

Personally I don't know any Victorians that bad mouth SA

However I have met a lot of SA people who bad mouth Victorians.

Basically I put it down to media c**p yet again. When I visited there all the media was doing was mouthing off and verbally bashing Victorians.

I Spent my Honeymoon traveling SA & totally enjoyed it but after my last visit Its going to be a long time before I bring my tourist dollars back.

Its all just rivalry ,Adelaide got upset because Victoria stole the Grand Pix which we had for a long time.Personally I like Melbourne and I am from Adelaide,

Come now !I have lived in Adelaide and other parts of SA ...and you are calling Melbourne names your city is full of churches its pretty ....pretty boring ...i wont lower myself and insult Sth Aussies as you do Victorians but calling Melbourne the Bogan Capital of Australia is like saying that the Gold Coast{lived there too] is boring ..both untrue ..
