  1. Try refreshing the webpage

    or...

Turn off web accelerator, if you have one - it may be conflicting with youtube.

    or..

It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline smoothly... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just  google search "zillatube" to get it.

  2. use firefox to watch streaming movie clips

  3. I have also found that videos from YouTube keep pausing whilst downloading. They are usually better when viewed again using the Replay facility.

  4. Could be your connection speed. It could also be a lack of system resources (ie: RAM). If you are running a lot of extra programs, such as messenger, office products, email, etc. close them first to see if it speeds up for you.

  5. either use firefox, if that doesn't work you might have to let it "load". If neither help then it might be because you have a slow connection or you laptop is slow. Either have a clean up and free up some disk space because this might cause your laptop to run slower or get a different internet deal ;)

Hope this helps a bit, or you could just buy a new computer :P

  6. maybe your connection isn't fast enough. the video has to buffer before it can be played so maybe you need a faster connection or better signal. also i agree, firefox is much better for streaming video clips

    hope it helps

    :)

  7. Its just BUFFERING, when you watch a video pause it then do somethin else for 10 minutes or longer depends on the lenth of the video then longer, then the video will buffer then you can watch all the way throgh with no intruptions!

  8. I was having the same problem on my work laptop.

    I have Vista and Firefox.

After installing Googles new browser, Chrome, it works fine now.

    Try it - http://www.google.com/chrome

  9. I have noticed that youtube has suddenly got worse too...both on my laptop (xp) and my PS3...the best way is to pause the clip until the red bar has filled up and the data has been fully downloaded..although just lately...it seems to glitch for a few seconds at the same point in the vid..about 3/4 of the way through..never mind, its not that much of a hardship
