Why do waiters sulk about being underpaid when they earn more than many full-time employees like teachers when you account for their tips. Full-time servers typicaly earn 30-40K on average per year and the ones in nice restaurants in metropolitan cities can earn close to 100K. My question to servers is if it pays so little as you claim, then why don't you work for fast food restaurant since they are always hiring and pay a lot more?
