Why do wapanese say kawaii?

God it's so annoying to hear this from people. It doesn't make you anymore Japanese. Why can't people say cute like normal people? Most people don't even know what kawaii really means. I'm not Japanese but I bet most people in Japan would be offended. It just shows that they don't truly give a d**n about the language and are trying to learn it in the laziest way as possible.

And by the way I'm sure that there's plenty of people in Japan that don't like anime, just like there's people in America who don't like football. So don't think that just because you like anime, that means you're one step closer to being Japanese.
