  1. water can get stale and it does get a horrible smell.

  2. this is  why  god  is exicst

  3. water can get stale, if you take tap water and put it in a bottle and leave it a few days, when you drink it, it tastes really stale even though it hasnt got a taste in the first place...hmm strange

  4. It does. It looses its air within it that gives that fresh taste.

Try this, get two bottles of water and leave them open for a week. They will then taste stale.

Then take one and pour it at height from one container to another several times back and forwards. This will aerate it. Your find it will then taste fresher.

If you ever go camping and collect rain water this is also what you must do to the water you collect to give its flavour back.

  5. water does get not get OLD!, cause mostly its NEUTRAL, most of other stuff usaid has chemicals in it which are unstable, thus it reacts adnd get rotten or bad,  however water is neither acidic nor alkali, so it stays stable most of the time. and its not healthy its just wat  it is .and just vaporises if kept open for looooooooong time.,

  6. Water is an exceptionally simple chemical compound, while juices and milk contain organic molecules. Organic molecules break apart over time, decaying, and thus going bad.

Water by itself lacks organic molecules, so typically it doesn't go bad. At least not in the same timespan as milk or juice.

  7. In all those things you mentioned, it is not the water which rots, but the solids dissolved in the water. Unless there are contaminants of some kind - bacteria, insects, solids, water does not break down, but just acts as a medium for other chemical reactions. I have my own water supply, kept in the dark of a large (100,000 litres) tank, and some of that water has been there for several years. It still tastes clean and crisp and delicious.

  8. Actually, water CAN get old.  In order for water to stay fresh it has to be circulated so it can be aerated.
