You have to admit it. Most people harbor at least a little resentment for the rich yet they strive to become one of them.

  1. because they are envious and jealous, everyone wants enough money to enjoy a good life.

  2. It's not the people who've gone out and found success that are resented. The people who are resented are the people who are born rich like Paris Hilton. Someone who has been able to do good and find success, whether they were born well off or not, are generally admired.

  3. success to me is love, giving to others, honesty, good character, not money.money is a nice tool ,but a descend person of compassion and willing to give the shirt off his back is more important

  4. IF the successful are hated as you say, it is only because the unsuccessful are jealous of their (our) success.

I also don't consider "success" to be money, but rather educational and career achievement.

  5. I don't hate them, I'm a republican conservative currently in college(I believe you should keep what you earn and that your sacrifices should go to making your future family members happy), I am far from rich, but I plan to be upper middle class eventually.
