  1. weve learned a little by our past we dont eat raw food any more but i agree with you in general we are a virus to this planet

  2. I think we never learn because we never study real history: we read always the same things, and it become "normal" that Hitler killed thousands of humans, every war now is normal!

History has to be a serious subject like politics: history is not past, is future! Is useless to study dates and names if you don't know what happened as a consequence to a determinate  action

  3. We don't learn a great deal from the mistakes of the past, nor do we listen to what our future holds if we don't change our ways quickly.

We certainly are a virus upon this earth with hardly an compassion for the creatures who share this planet with us.

Considering we are all made up of the same body parts, we continually try and divide ourselves until a war erupts.

I wonder how long it will take for people to wake-up and realise that we are all in this together, and nothing can be solved by hate, ignorance and greed.

  4. If people studied history a bit they would see how often we are repeating it.....A little history lesson goes a long way....We seem to have reverted back to the days of the Romans.....There are these wonderful things called books...People need to pick them up once in awhile and read perhaps a little history...

  5. Each generation thinks they know better than those that went before. A little knowledge should tell them that they do not.

  6. Because we are not quite as intelligent as we like to make out. In fact we are pretty dumb in comparison to all other living creatures.

  7. In your question you assume that we do not learn.

We clearly do learn or we would still  be living in caves.

Maybe you should ask why do we kill each other and treat each other like c**p.

  8. Because "we as a species" don't read our history.

  9. Bush

  10. Because the future is just the past, endlessly repeating itself!

It's like 'Deja Vu', all over again!

  11. Because even though other's make mistakes we still have to make our own in order to learn from them. It's like trying to teach your kids to learn by your mistakes when they can't possibly understand having never been there to experience it for themselves.

  12. Because each new generation likes to do things their own way.  They seldom listen to older people with a lot of wisdom because they assume them to be out of touch and sometimes stupid.  I have watched lots of people reinvent the wheel in my lifetime, particularly in the workplace.
