Why do we bite the inside of our lip and ?

because you are not cautious of what your bitting, but who is... hehe. just try to be catrefull, we bite it because we sometimes dont realise wat we are bitting and then just do it i guess...

As one poster mentioned, momentary lack of coordination - although if it's a more frequent problem maybe you have under/overbite (i.e. one half of your jaw juts out more than the other).

some people do it out of nerves habit other do it cause it tastes good! lol
