Why do we buy cars that vastly exceed the capability and ability for our roads.?

A prestige car costs bundles to buy ,run and legalise for on road use.

Why don't we just call a halt to this and deny the government its taxes from this excess or demand a fairer return for our ill advised investment.

More free parking, better roads, more realistic enforcement of highways legistlation, removal of draconian money grabbing enforcement proceedures.

There are severe limitations to its (the car) use and one is penalised at every turn.

  1. It is very simple..........

Speed sells cars and the manufacturers dont care.................

  2. You don,t have a car, do you?

  3. Because of the NEED for speed, and control...it is simple.

Money + everything, therefor I can buy a fast car and race it around like a GREENHORN! BE an ***

  4. probably, because they can,its ridicules to pay for a vehicle that almost cost as much as a house, you might as well live in your car.

  5. Um, a person should be able to buy any kind of car they can afford to buy and run. Or park if they cant afford to run it. But legalise? Why does a car need to be legalised? If it's in unsafe condition then it wouldnt cost that much to buy, one would hope.

People who buy high performance cars know beforehand what the limitations placed on them are, if they want to lay out big dollars for horses they may never use, that choice should be up to them!

  6. I just love the questions that start with "Why do WE" or "Why don't WE". What we? You must have a mouse in your pocket.
