Why do we care if our tax dollars support welfare mamas & cheats but not...?

care that our tax dollars are also funding an immoral war and sending billions in aid every year to countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia & Israel because those consume A LOT more of our budget and have gotten us into serious debt? And please don't tell me we're really trying to spread democracy....like that's working!

Is this really how we want our money spent? What do you want your tax dollars to go to?

I agree we should stop all foreign aid also. Would your plan include the billions sent to Africa in aid? How do you think the UN gets it's money?

immoral war.. is an OPINION... in my opinion the fact that we haven't had a terrorist attack on our soil since it started makes it well worth while...

try working for 3 or 4 decades.. add up how much you have spent on your federal taxes and i strongly suspect that question will answer itself for you......

one is an attempt.. whether you agree with it or not to keep  you safe.. the other is an attempt to get through life making you pay for them.

I know I know.

Besides only 5% of tax dollars go to any programs helping anyone at poverty line (child care, welfare, wic, food stamps, housing, etc)  Meanwhile 50% or something of our taxes go to wars and the armed forces.

I guess its because people respect our countires defenses and they are uneducated and believe that all welfare recipients are lazy and got themselves in that position.  However they could be no farther from the truth.

I'd be happy to see our tax dollars go to fund the basic infrastructure of our nation, roads, inland waterways, seaports, law enforcement, fire departments, the forestry service,  the power grid, levees, dams, etc.  Things that are here for the benefit  of all.  All the things that seem to be an afterthought with all the other programs they keep inventing.

Probably because welfare mommas and cheats are just flat out lazy people that make our skin crawl.

They're trashy folks by their own choice- and they serve no purpose , none no good at all comes from their existence.

The war on the other hand has at least a purpose:

Saddam is dead - his people are free of his tyranny

Now woman and children are going to school in Iraq and it is a democracy.

The welfare momma popping about the babies serves no real purpose except to pollute our air.

because this the screwd up mentality of the american people  i live here 40 years and every day i have to listen to the socalled welfare fraud  "" but nobody ""  points the finger to the corporations  and to the politicians which robb  this contry of"" billions ""every year for the pet projects they have

plus the insurance companies  are doing a good job themself
