Why do we care so much about clebs

Because many of us are in awe of their status, their talent, their looks.. whatever they have that we want.  Clara Bow was known as the "IT" girl... whatever "IT" was... SHE had it, and everyone wanted "IT."

All these years later, things haven't changed all that much... only the names and ages!

I answered a similar question earlier about celebrities. But it seems that celebs today seem to forget that it's the public that not only made them but can break them too. I also blame the paparazzi for  their methods in getting photos of celebs too. I mean what ever happened to ASKING for a photo instead of running right up to a person's vehicle while they're stopped at a stoplight or blocking their way by standing in front of the vehicle preventing  it from moving so you can snap some more photos?
