Why do we cry when we peel onions?

onions make us cry when we chop them because THEY HAVE SOME SORT OF JUICE IN THEM THAT GETS TO OUR EYES AND MAKES THEM FEEL HURT IN SOME SORT OF WAY and that is why we cry when we peel onions :-).

There is a gas given off from the onion once cut/peeled wich is SO2 wich has sullfrane in it wich recats to our eyes makeing them water some people have immunity to that and some people cry more.
