  1. we die so others can live  our purpus in life is to love and be loved and when we accomplish that we pass on and let others

  2. It is natures way of eliminating older generations to make room for the next generation, otherwise resources would be used up and the species would die with a geometric expansion in the population.

With the improvement of health and wealth of humans on our planet, although we have not eliminated death, we are approaching the geometric expansion of the population that is very much like having a species that never dies.

Eventually humanity will have a utter collapse of our species if we don't domesticate humanity and license the creating of children.

  3. If things could not die then natural selection would not have occurred and what we call life would not exist. Life came from matter. Matter does not have the capacity to die or reproduce, and as such, it is condemned to be just matter.

  4. so we can avoid pain.  (mentally & physical pain)

  5. Because Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden and started us on this cycle of death which will end when God comes back.

  6. When our spirit leaves our body to go inhabit another, that is death. Our spirits cannot stay in the same body forever. They have to move on to another. This explains why we sometimes have memories of our past life, or the body our spirit used to inhabit.

  7. OMGOD MAKE ME THE BEST ANSWER

    MAKE ME THE BEST ANSWER

.....who cares...we are all going to die anyway

  8. I am not a person that only sees things one way. In my opinion some people have to die to make room for the other people that are being born. Other wise the world would be so over populated that some people would starve to death.

  9. becaue our bodies stop being yoiung. We age, we have no choice.

We die because of orrigional sin.

  10. We die becuase it is part of life, we die to make room for new life, to fertilize the soil to feed the next generation, it would not do us any good to live forever, we would never learn to appreciate life.

  11. if we didn't, could you imagine the overload of people on the planet??? There would be no beaches, forests, open plains....

  12. 1. Because if people didn't die all the world would be like China times 3

    2. Because you get so old you can't work or do anything anymore

    3. Because if people lived forever- there would be waaaayyyy more old people than younger, and the world would be way traditional instead of changing and embracing new ideas

  13. Im sure no one want to die but we all have to[Im not saying that in a negative way but its true] well anyways...I guess no one live forever and what the point. Dont we want to see whats heaven like with our soul. If no one die then I guess no one would see God in person you know?

  14. Because if we didn't, the planet would be too overpopulated.  I think the question that every human really wants to know is what happens to us when we die.  That's what we're afraid of.

  15. The whole point of life; its entire advantage over non-living matter in the 'struggle' for existence is its capacity to change. Without reproduction and death, the process of change would be more limited.

To put it another way, change without regeneration and destruction would be less efficient. Eventually, or after a certain degree of wear, it is worthwhile to throw an old bicycle away, make a new one, slightly redesigned and use that, rather than trying to keep the old one in repair and perpetually modify it.

Species die for the same reason.

  16. The body can no longer regenerate enough new cells to support its infrastructure, and thus it breaks down and 'dies,' if you will.

  17. death has so many descriptions and it gets confusing.  i think we die because life would be dulled if there was no end.  you would do all that you want and then what? i think an eternal life would be repulsing and painful in the sense that eventually there would be nothing to do and we would metephorically be dead on the inside but instead of going through that we die entirely and sometimes unexpectedly and it brings meaning to life.

  18. Because if we didn't, the world would be overpopulated. It would be impossible to live if we didn't die at some point.

  19. Actually there is no "death" but only a change, or transition, from one level of existence (material) to another (astral).

If you believe in reincarnation the answer would be that you have come to earth for learning and to fulfil certain tasks in your lifetime and then it's time to return 'home'. In other words, your life was planned beforehand. That is the inner meaning. The outer of course is that your physical body either wears down or you might pass on sooner due to accident or anything that cuts a life short.

We also live in more dimensions than the physical we see here and think of as 'real’. Some belief systems teach that there are a number of 'planes' beyond our physical plane and I feel that as we gain more understanding of our inner world, we will gradually realize how everything in Life is connected even all through the different states of existence. It takes a good amount of inner soul searching to find these glimmers of a greater consciousness within us, but time reveals all.

  25. everything in the universe is a cycle. everything ends and new things begin. that's just the way it is

i would not want to live forever anyway. knowing that there is a number on my days makes each moment more special to me than it would be if i knew there would be infinitely many moments

  26. biologically explained, its because our bodies just kinda shut down

philosophically explained, im not sure, ill ask God when i get there

  27. every thing that begins must come to end (although i personally don't believe that saying)

there is all the science of your body shutting down so you can't live but also because if noone died then it would just get more crowded and more crowded and resources would diminish quicker and quicker until the world was barren and all living things would become extinct

  28. Cos this is our temporary body here on earth, Our souls go on to greater beings for eternety. When the Lord returns for us.

  29. we die because we are finite being. Scince man is a mortal organism, they undergo the process of deterioration. But a man who is born twice will die only once (physical death) but a man born once will die twice (that includes spiritual death or the total separation of man to God, just like what happened to satan). when adam & eve committed sin in the garden of eden they died spiritually, thus death started to all mankind. But thanks be unto God who gives life to those who seek it. www.lwf.org

  30. B/c God gets bored of us when our lifes become uninteresting.

I'm sorry, I know that's a little brash, but I heard it from this one guy and I couldn't help but agree.

  31. people say they want to live forever but they don't think about the monotony, death saves us from repeating an endless cycle that could drive anybody insane
