Don't know about the rest of you, but I drink it while I'm eating. Maybe those who drink it after are using it as a digestif or digestive aid.

usually because drinking on an empty stomach is considered stupid, it hits you faster and some people causes an upset stomach.

By drinkin beer on an empty stomach u will absorb the alcohol much faster in ur blood stream than if u ate something. Also after eating sumthing u have less space for the beer so u tend to drink less. So less beeer bills.
