To soak up all the alcohol, makes you more sober aswell and able to drink even more!

to soak up the drink so that yur able to go out again in a couple hours and enjoy just as much - and for girls usually becos' we didn't eat before hand... not wanting to look bloated in our cute little outfits

It's O.K. if it's light food. Some people can't sleep without eating something. It's bad for health to eat and go for sleep. U must not sleep for three hours after your last meal.
