because it's our birthday we need an excuse to sin. We eat cake guilt free at least once a year. It is the best gift ever. to have the greatest reason to eat as much cake as we want, and ice cream too.

You have raised my curiosity! I have no idea why we eat birthday cake on our birthdays, we just do. I guess it is the only real form of celebrating our special day with the lit candles. It somehow makes us feel special, which we should feel, I guess, on our special day. Thanks for asking the question. I'll be investigating the answer!
