  1. Hummingbird Person well the first one up there ^ is wrong. NO NO. it just feels like nothing can get you. and your hiding where nothing can reach you. lol idk it calms you down hahaha

  2. We feel safer to hide when we are scared.

what does a tiny mouse do when it's being chased by a cat? it goes into the nearest hole to protect itself,

we do the same, only it's a mental state - hiding behind a pillow or covers makes us believe that if we can't see it, it's not there.

  3. I was going to write what Hummingbird wrote.

    Give that lady ten points

  4. I believe it gives you a temp. feeling of being protected. The womb suggestion may also be correct.

  5. Because it reminds us of being in the womb.

  6. it is actually a mix of things. hiding makes is feel safer and as your bed is where you sleep, hiding on there would comfort you. also hummingbirds suggestion of being in the womb is primarily correct. the sensation of you mother protecting you subconsiously has a deal to do with why we feel safer under the covers
