Why do we get so much c**p about our age difference?

Question

My husband and I are 23 years apart, he is 47 and I am 24. He has older children from a previous relationship and I have a 4yo daughter from a previous relationship. He is wonderful with her and she calls him daddy. My ex is no longer in the picture. He is not rich or anything we are just happy and in love. My question is do you see a problem with people having a large age difference? And if so why?

Second question: We are due to have a child together in Feb. do you think there is something wrong with our age difference and raising a child?

as long as you are both legal then it shouldn't matter. If you make each other happy then don't worry about what other people think/say.

First of all when you grow older age means nothing anymore but just a silly number to relationships. Second there isn't a problem with that in my opinion you should like and love whoever you want and age should not matter.

Most people say thoughtless things most of the time.

I think you will make your life work - so no I don't worry about yoru age difference.
