  1. ANZAC Day is a day of rememberance, to all the soldiers and other servicemen from Australia and New Zealand who fought and served in the armed forces.

It is not to glorify war but to pay respect to those people who selflessly contributed help make this the peaceful and democratic land we live in today.

  2. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps - basically a day to recognize the freedoms the country has and its courageous troops, and appreciate what they've done. Like Memorial Day for America

  3. Not to celebrate war, but to honor, show respect and remember  (lest we forget) the soldiers that gave their lives for the welfare of Australia and New Zealand as nations.

It particularly relates to the ANZACs who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during WW1.
