  1. The WORD you are looking for is "curious."

  2. They think that it has something to do with how your memories are stored.  As you do something, if you have deja vu, it is stored in your long term memory accidentally, so it seems as if it's an old memory instead of a new one.

  3. Well this is a very controversial question so it might be worth researching it further

some people think that it is because you actually have seen it before...

others think that it is "memories" in your genes i.e. things that parents/granparents have seen...

    Good question, star for you

  4. I know that this isn't technically correct but...I like to think of them like this: Before God sends us to Earth, he shows us snapshots or short clips of our lives here on earth. Then, when we get to that moment in our lives, we recall it from when he was showing us our lives....

I know that's not what science will tell you but, I like my idea better! LOL

  5. Research at Oxford University - several years ago - showed that the human memory falls into a number of categories - two of which are recording and playback modes .. the instance of deja vu (I've done this before or I remember this) can be best described as instantaneous replay of what you are experiencing .. when you see or do something a memory is created by the nerve synapses and then 'confirmed' in position by an unconscious replay (this is called 'I remember that') - when you then replay that memory instantaneously your conscious mind becomes 'double channelled' and considers that this is already a memory, when in fact it is you trying to store the memory that is replaying and causing you to think ' been there, done that' .. oh and it's quite common in people who travel a lot or have a variety of 'memorable experiences'
