Why do we have a bi flag when we already have the LGBT flag? ?

Question

i mean, we all know the b in lgbt is for bisexual, so why do we have another flag for just bisexuals?

i know we can use both, but i am wondering, why do we even have the bi flag?we are accepted by most of the lgt community, so why the need for another flag?

and poll for the bisexuals: which do you like to use more? the bi flag or the lgbt flag, or both?

i like both.

I never though of that. I don't know why there's a separate flag, to be fair there should be a flag for just lesbians and just homosexuals and just transgendered people.

Poll: Well I had the bi flag for my avatar but I get bored easily and got a new one :] I do like both though

I look at the separate flags simply as a way to identify unique groups within a larger community.

Everyone living here (U.S.) unites under the American flag, yet each of the 50 states has its own flag, as well. I would bet that a very low percentage of the population can describe their states' flags, but that does not make them any less important. You can apply the same reasoning to the individual flags identifying the components of LGBT.

Maybe they can combine all the flags onto one flag. Like compartments so we can be all inclusive.

Well in the Bi flag article you have here it explains that the reason to give a higher visability among society and in the LGBT community.
