Why do we have a hard time finding our real self?

why do we have a hard time identifying our mistake while we identify others mistake so easy?

Because we don't like admitting our own faults and down falls but it makes us unconciously feel better when we spot others faults.

Because we like to put people down and make fun of them at their inconvenience

Its easier said than done...one can identify a mistake done by others easier than we can in ourselves because WE think the decision we make is correct reason being is that we want to believe its the right choice for our life or whatever the case may be
